A Portrait of Craft & Culture
The 25x25 Project is a portrait collection featuring 25 artisans in 2025 to celebrate craftsmanship in a visual way featuring a curated series of powerful portraits and documentation of artisans and their work.
Through thoughtful storytelling, it explores the profound value of hand-made traditions and the importance of staying true to the principles of slow culture.
We are inviting a select group of artisans to participate in 25x25 which aims to connect people to the art of making, inspires others to learn a craft, and encourages a deeper appreciation for the patience, skill, and integrity that handmade work represents–honoring the hands, the hearts, and the heritage behind traditional crafts.
Each artisan will be photographed with their work in their own space, capturing not just what they make, but why they make it.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their story and be part of a broader cultural dialogue, one that values process over speed, quality over quantity, and meaning over mass production.
