Our Process

We create an emotional and compelling narrative through imagery by starting with a vision board based on your brand’s personality and marketing goals. When a maker tells their story using images, a consumer is able to see the passion, learn about the unique qualities of a product or service, and feel inspired to become a loyal customer.

  • Prep Guidance

    Once you book your session, we send you a preparation guide that gives suggestions & recommendations on how to prepare and what to bring to your photoshoot. We also ask for images that serve as examples of your style taste. The prep guide goes over what and how to send them in so that we have them prior to your consultation to discuss how we will design your session.

  • Design Consultation

    Taking place in-person at our studio or online over Zoom (whichever you prefer) two weeks before your photoshoot, we plan and design your vision. In addition, we go over how to prepare, wardrobe, what to bring, and any questions you may have. The appointment usually takes about an hour and covers the look and style you are desiring, expression, and pose options. We look at images as examples and create a vision board for the photo session.

  • Pro Hair & Makeup

    Our professional and experienced artist will listen carefully to your vision and create the look and style you want for your photoshoot. She is fully licensed and experienced with creating a wide variety of looks for various hair and skin types. She will answer any questions you may have and give suggestions if needed. She is here to serve you on-location.

  • The Photoshoot

    The day is here, and all you have to do is show up. Pro-hair & makeup, posing, expression guidance, and wardrobe will be tended to as planned. Our sessions focus on you as an artisan, your authenticity, and any products or supplies you bring that tell your story. We use any props discussed during your consultation and follow a plan based on your vision board.

  • Reveal & Ordering

    After your photoshoot, your (unedited) images will be ready for viewing. You can either view them in-studio, over Zoom with my guidance, or be sent a password-protected proofing gallery so that you may select the ones you love best for your chosen collection, along with any additional images, sizes, or output types. Once we receive your selections, whether print or digital, we give you an estimated delivery.

  • Images are Ready

    Depending on your order, your photo collection will be ready anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. Most branding clients only require digital files, which will be sent by photo link when they are ready, typically no more than two weeks after selection.

Custom-Made Styling Elements • Styling that includes a high level of detail or organization (i.e. a swirl of rainbow spices, a cascade of sequenced floral elements in back or foreground) or custom hand-made elements (i.e. custom hand-painted backdrop, full floral arrangement, etc.) $200.00 per hour.

Design Consultation • Consultation on branding direction (i.e. brand story, purpose statements, personality and mood, target audience, etc.) and design layout direction for branding (i.e. books, newsletters, magazine, experience, website).

$350.00 per hour.

Legacy Box • Designed to hold matted & mounted, premium-quality portrait prints. These are often purchased by parents as a keepsake/show & tell of their child’s professional story.

+$550.00 only available as an add-on to a collection.

Heirloom Album • Designed to hold matted & mounted, premium-quality portrait prints. These are often purchased by parents as a keepsake/show & tell of their child’s professional story.

Wall Art • Designed to be larger in scale with sizes starting at 11x14 and retouched to perfection for your walls. Each piece comes ready to hang.

Prices start at $450.00 (+tax). Please contact us if you may want to purchase larger format wall art as we need to know this prior to your session. We will send detailed pricing, and prepare as needed.

Photo Prints • Individual print prices are included below and are available for purchase in addition to any collection. Each comes carefully matted & mounted.

To purchase an additional digital, the price is the same (as it is based on the editing work time and less the cost of paper and printing).
