Who matters in the conversation?

Over the years, I have noticed that many women will stop for beauty, but far fewer will stay for complexity. But if you remove beauty entirely, many won’t stop long enough to even discover the complexity. It’s a balance.

My work aims to say the image is flattering, the image is beautiful and controlled, but beauty is not the conclusion, instead just an entry point. 

No one is ever going ask, please show me looking unattractive so I can be taken seriously. What they’re really asking—sometimes without realizing it is, can I be seen as more than my appearance without sacrificing it? This is different.

This is what I do. 

Beauty may draw people in, but complexity determines who remains. The ones willing to look beyond appearance discover there is more to see.
